Pax Americana means different things in different contexts. For our purpose, it means relative world peace after 1992 and uncontested military, economic and technological supremacy of United States over other nations until recently.

Waning military power

Since 2014, US dominance has been challenged on multiple occasions and US has not been able to demonstrate its dominance.

2022: Russia invaded Ukraine
